2. What this policy coversThis policy covers the Road To The Pros mobile app, account services and public website.Road To The Pros uses darts performance information to build training plans, record progress, calculate Road Markers and provide coaching guidance.Adult account holders must be 18 or over. Junior Roads are for players aged 10–17 and are managed through an adult parent or guardian’s account. Junior players do not create independent sign-in accounts.3. The adult account holder confirms that the player is aged 10–17. We do not ask for or retain the junior player’s exact date of birth. Junior players do not need their own email address.Training and match information: drill completion, scores, averages, First 9 information, doubles and checkout results, match and leg information, grouping and accuracy, session duration, ratings of throwing rhythm and how settled the throw is, optional darts practice notes, and progress information. These records are linked to the relevant Road account and player.Subscription and access information: account and subscription customer identifiers, product identifiers, purchase and renewal information, trial or subscription status, and entitlement information needed to provide Free or Pro access and restore eligible purchases. This information is linked to your Road account. Store payments are handled by the store used for the purchase.Technical and security information: timestamps, sync and pending-upload status, local app storage, security settings such as whether biometric unlock is enabled, and diagnostic information needed to investigate faults or protect the service.Legal and support records: versions and times of Terms acceptance, Privacy Policy acknowledgement and guardian acknowledgement, together with support messages, bug reports and feedback you choose to send.Information comes from you, from the adult managing a Junior Road, from use of the app, and from relevant store and subscription services. Optional practice notes and feedback are not required to create an account. Information needed for a particular feature must be provided for that feature to work.4. BiometricsRoad To The Pros can use your phone’s biometric system for optional quick unlock.Your fingerprint, face template or other biometric credential is handled by the phone’s operating system. Road To The Pros does not receive or store your biometric template. The app stores the local information needed to know that biometric unlock is enabled on that device.5. Health informationThe current app does not ask for pain or fatigue check-ins. Retired check-in values are excluded from training uploads, downloads, displays and coaching calculations, including when older offline results are synchronised.Historical pain and fatigue check-in values have been removed from the active Road training database. The updated app also removes the retired check-in field from readable training results cached by an older version while preserving the darts result.Training notes are for darts technique and practice observations. Please do not enter diagnoses, medication, injuries or other health information. Free-text notes can contain information a user chooses to type; they are not intended as a medical record.Any retained backups remain subject to the retention arrangements described below.6. Why we use your informationWe use information to create and secure accounts, build and maintain Roads, save and synchronise results, calculate progress, provide coaching, manage subscription access, support offline use, answer enquiries, investigate faults and maintain appropriate legal records. Our lawful bases depend on the purpose:* Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the adult account holder with the account, training, history, syncing, coaching or subscription features covered by our agreement.
* Legitimate interests: operating, securing, testing and improving the service; preventing abuse; debugging faults; responding to support enquiries; and maintaining appropriate records. These interests must be balanced against users’ rights and interests, with particular care for children.
* Legal obligation: where information must be retained or disclosed to comply with applicable law.
We may use aggregated usage, testing and feedback information to improve Road To The Pros.We do not currently use account information for behavioural advertising or marketing emails. If an optional feature requires consent, we will ask for it separately. Acknowledging this policy does not itself provide consent for unrelated uses.7. Adaptive coaching and profilingRoad To The Pros analyses training and match results to calculate Road pace, Road Marker progress, coaching focus, training priorities, suggested sessions and progress trends. This is automated analysis and personalisation for darts coaching. It does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.For a newly selected Junior Road, Adaptive Coach is off by default. A parent or guardian can turn it on to use the player’s darts results to adjust future practice, and can turn it off again at any time.Turning Adaptive Coach off keeps the Road, scores and training history and uses the standard programme for future sessions. Junior personalisation is not used for advertising or public rankings.Road Markers are development guidance. They are not official classifications, selections or qualifications of the PDC, JDC, county organisations, leagues or other governing bodies.8. Offline and local storageRoad information and training results can be stored in app-private or secure local storage so that key parts of the app work without an internet connection.Pending results are uploaded when connectivity returns.Uninstalling the app may remove its local copy, but it does not automatically delete information already synchronised to your online Road account. Use the account-deletion process in section 13 to delete your account.9.
